Bezel-less smartphones have become a trend lately in the world of phones. Most flagships that currently exist come with a bezel-less form factor. These smartphones usually have a display ratio of 18:9. In 2016, Xiaomi introduced the Mi Mix, which was a concept phone and was bezel-less. The first mainstream smartphone to be bezel-less was Samsung's Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. A lot of other smartphones, mainly flagships started coming with a bezel-less design after that. The trend has also caught up with mid-range smartphones like the Micromax Canvas Infinity or the LG Q6, both of which are bezel-less smartphones. Flagship phones such as the Pixel 2 XL and iPhone X also belonged to the same category. Going forward, most smartphones be it flagship or mid-range, they are likely to sport a bezel-less design.
